Bible vs. What we want
The movie and book Heaven Is For Real was a best seller. Many Christian want to know what heaven is like because there are not many accounts on what it looks like in full detail. David Platt defends the Bible saying that the movie is not Biblical. If there is ever any question always make sure that it is supported by the Bible and not based off of assumptions.

WAVE Cookout Sunday, May 18th, at 5PM
Grace Chapel WAVE,
I would like to say that I am very excited about being the new Youth Director! I have a lot of ideas that are going to be fun and also help us grow together in Christ. This summer, we plan on doing a lot of things such as a canoe trip, a game night at the church, girls day out, kickball, and also some local mission work around the Jackson Metro Area. We have many other fun ideas planned and would also like to get some feedback about what you suggest we do.
My first day at Grace Chapel will be this Sunday, May 18th, and I will be at Sunday School, the 10:30 Worship Service and later that day at WAVE for a cookout. I would like to invite you to come so we can get to know each other and also enjoy a meal together. It will be a very laid back evening simply for us to have a good time. The cookout will start at 5PM, and afterwards we will probably play some games until about 7PM.
If any of you need anything, my phone number is (662) 57one-5539. If you would like, please text me your name and number so I can save it to my phone. This will also be a good way we can stay in touch, and if you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to give me a a call. I hope you all can be at the cookout and I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
Thanks,
Jeremy Erickson

Oreo Pudding Recipe for WAVE Supper
WAVE Parents -
If you are providing dessert for our WAVE Family Night Supper on October 16, please follow this dessert recipe below. The reason we are doing this is so everyone will get to enjoy a particular dessert and not have all the kids go for one thing and not another.
If you have any questions, let me know! I would make 1 or 2 each since we will be providing for 100-125 people!
Thanks!
- Seth
Oreo Pudding:
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces Cool Whip
1 (1 lb) package Oreo cookies, crushed into chunks
4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
2 packages instant vanilla pudding ( small size)

- In a large bowl, cream the cream cheese, butter and sugar with an electric mixer.

- Mix until all the lumps are gone.
- Fold in the Cool Whip.
- Put half of the cookies in the bottom of a large glass bowl.
